Sydnee Monday at Kokila has acquired world rights to #DisabledAndCute creator Keah Brown’s (The Pretty One) (l.) picture book debut, Sam’s Super Seats. Sharee Miller (Don’t Touch My Hair!) will illustrate.

Expert interviews

The story, about loving yourself, laughter, and the importance of rest, follows a girl with cerebral palsy who goes back-to-school shopping with her best friends. Publication is scheduled for fall 2022; Alexander Slater at Trident Media Group represented the author, and Monica Odom at Odom Media Management represented the illustrator.
